Al-Rahma Mosque - Liverpool
Al-Rahma Mosque is managed by The Liverpool Muslim Society is a registered Muslim charity in Liverpool, England. The Mosque was founded in 1953 by the late Al-Haj Ali Hizzam, where it operated from a room in his house. In 1965 the construction of Al-Rahma Mosque started and the main prayer hall was completed in July 1974, to serve the small population of 3000 Muslim, at that time. The first small floor, the madrassah and the Imam’s accommodation was added in 1979. Today, after over 7 decades the Liverpool Region Muslim population grew to over 25,000, and the Mosque has undergone multiple extensions projects. On Fridays, the mosque accommodates between 2,000 and 2,500 people.

Our architecture and presence serve as a testament to the long-standing history of Muslims in this city, bridging the traditions of the past with the needs of the modern day.
Our Mission
