PURPOSE
The purpose of BMWA is to work for the welfare of Muslims living in and around Basingstoke area and provide an organized representation of them. Our central goal is to foster peace and unity within our multicultural society by constructing bridges of understanding. Through a range of diverse activities, we strive to present Islam in its purest essence, emphasizing its values of tolerance and compassion as a way of life
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
PLACE OF WORSHIP
To work towards providing or facilitating a place of worship for Muslims who live and work in the area.
To support and liaise with any other organization that provides such facilities
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

To organize celebration for the two annual Muslim festivals namely Eid-ul Fitr and Eid-ul Adha

To promote the understanding of Islam to non-Muslims by organizing yearly open day event

Liaise with schools and other educational organizations and to provide information about Muslims and Islam

To deal with other social issues as they arise relating to Police, Law and Inmates etc.

To provide or facilitate social networking among Muslims especially among Muslim sisters
